also a lot of the content is just base half-life 2 content, if you filter that stuff out it'd be lighter
i know there's a program to pack the content into the map itself, i'm not sure if that helps with filesize though

As for the content pack. I will eventually upload it to the workshop and filter out things that are not needed including replacements of older models
Those only exist because I used assets from other games that replaced base models with their own, I actually had one removed that gave doors a dumb texture but I must have missed a couple as well
But this is something that can take time and I'm short on free time at the moment but things will get fixed and improve further especially on phase 2 of the map
-The camera is unable to be used with most of my addons disabled.
-Flickering missing textures appear in the 3D skybox area, I didn't notice them before, so I don't know if they appeared after deleting the door textures or what.
-It always forces the default HUD on, even when using custom HUDs, and even forces them on when using the camera.
-One of the pairs of paired bulkheads opens on touch, which I don't think it should.
-The downloadabe resources pack has the dreaded "models/props_c17/door01a_skin13.vft" replacement, that probably shouldn't be there. Along with its two siblings (there's three of them).
One of the doors, I forget where, but it's the pointy one, doesn't open fully, the top bits of the two bottom parts still stick out.
You *can* keep .dx80.vtx files around, but almost no one uses DirectX 8 mode.
I've uploaded 2 GB add-ons without issue using it.
The VTX files are actually useless VTX files you can safely delete - like vertex data for software rendering mode, or dx70 mode.
Deleting them won't impact the map in any way!
At some point I will upload it to the workshop in parts anyways, I just need to filter some files from the models and think of a way to include all of them in all the packs
