Where did the rest of the sentence go?
The crashing is from the game when any mod is installed, so you'd have to ask the developers.
To clarify: the crashes occured BEFORE installing your mod, not because of it. So your mod helps me not losing all my progress in game when the next crash occurs (because they still happen).

The instructions are very simple. I used it to "clean" my latest save files. I would suggest doing at minimum, the last 3 if you sort by date modified (which would include "autosave###.whs", "exit###.whs" and "save###.whs" files, where ### would be a unique number to your save file). It makes a backup of your save files too.
After running Modlist Cleaner, I was able to use Unlimited Saving II without trouble again.
