You're very welcome! Yeah, I was one of them that were on board with this request as well. It would definitely be much more efficient as well as adding a "spot on" realistic flair. Although, just having the aesthetics of this mod enhances the entertainment level of the game. So, we are grateful for IIunak having the idea to create it! :D
Happy city building everyone!
Oh, I see..
Thank you
Creator has already stated that this is not in the plan for making. It has been already requested several times. The mod still has (and will remain) with the vanilla functionality of the bus services, one at a time. It just makes it more "aesthetically" realistic.
Does that make sense?
Happy city building everyone!
I actually couldn't figure out how to properly measure the length of the stop, so the margin is set at 1/6 of the lane length. If another modder knew how to get properly the length of the stop vs the length of the road segment, then that would presumably work for all roads.
That's totally understandable. To be quite honest, I actually forgot that it was due to having a DLC.😄
Happy city building everyone!
In regards to your road situation posted earlier (June 6), I see that you're using the NEXT roads, which are definitely cool. Although, my suggestion, being that the vanilla version(s) actually do show a difference, and the node(s) allowing for the alteration(s), using the IMT mod properly for the lane decor, I would probably switch them out, so you won't have to do so much work, you know what I mean? As the saying goes, work smarter, not harder, right? :D
https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2405917899 This mod will make the process so much easier to do so, should you choose to take my suggestion. :) It will actually replace the entire map if you want it to. It's up to you. :D
Happy city building everyone!
Never mind the suggestion, or our supporting it, as it's already been detailed by the creator (IIunak) that there is no intention on doing such a thing. This was already suggested a few comments below from @抄答案把她草稿抄了, and it was noted as such, in response to the suggestion.
Would have been nice, but hey, just to even have this feature / functionality is still a blessing to the game. One doesn't know how much has to go into altering a game's programming language to do certain alterations. So, thank you, IIunak, for even thinking about this and making it a reality! You are greatly appreciated! :D
Happy city building everyone!
If that is even possible for this game to do that, I am definitely behind this suggestion as well, 100%!! Anything that adds an element of realism to the game, I am all for it.
Happy city building everyone!
Love from France
@xtre_me: I don't even use that mod.
I'm trying to build a nice highway exit, similarly to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aK3YyQGCD0&t=1053s . But I use 3-lane and 4-lane highway, specifically https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2631797651 . And my problem is that those have the same width, so it's not possible to align them nicely as shown in the video. I can make the non-barrier 4-lane highway wider by editing half width and pavement width, but for the 4-lane highway with barrier that breaks the barrier, as shown in https://postimg.cc/HVskB2P8 . And my asset editing skills are not as good as my coding skills, so I have not managed to fix that.
[...]
I've posted a comment about the width problem at the 4-lane non-barrier variant, but I'm not sure if cylis is still active or how long a fix would take that way. Would somebody know how I can make that to work? Would that need editing the meshes for the barrier segment/node (which I also don't know how to do)? I would be grateful is somebody helped me fix this.
Do we have a mod like this?
