So. Again. A rehash of the medic hat with all the same problems. At least it doesn't look too bulky here, but the structure still screams to me "Tell me you've never worn a hat without telling me you've never worn a hat!"

Also: Making the whole thing paintable is atrocious. Since you've already shoehorned the seams into this one you could'Ve just limited the paintable region to them. That'd at least make this more classy by making the seams look like they've been threaded with differently coloured thread.
