i honestly figured that after posting, did some research. was going to say i really like how you implemented it here, the US Army units have it on their backs when the Marines are crossing the rice paddy area and a tank spawns behind them on the right, its almost as if the Army units are escorting the tanks up the road and for the tank to recognize their infantry cover.

Thank you for the words and feedback! I believe the checkerboards were used in landing operations (in some WW2 campaigns at least not sure if the practice ever carried to Korea) to help identify friendlies amidst scenarios that invited lots of visual confusion.

also, what are the checkerboard pattern backpacks on the US army units?

only thing i noticed is the 30 cal mg class doesnt have any spare ammo, ammo boxes, or grenades

Very cool! Really nice to see some Korean War missions, like its so easy. The assets are literally already in the game, looking forward to more of your Korean War missions for sure
