It really only took some realistic textures to turn TF2 assets into HL2 styled. I love it.

honestly i was thinkin of a script that replaces the medkits that rebel medics drop with this, to denote that, while the rebels do use alot of stole combine tech, they really do have to make do with what they can get their hands on

Separate entities, albeit there's a 1-in-5 chance it'll replace your medkits/health vials in a supply cache.

i mean, gameplay-wise it just acts almost like a standard hl2 medkit and vial
lore-wise the painkillers are strong neuro-suppressants issued to metrocops and such
the standard health cases contain a bunch of vials and stuff
while the large health cases contain a bunch of hl2 health kits, connected and refrigerated to a central system of sorts

Oh, no, the models are fine, as you can pick them up normally. The issue comes in making that work for entities, however.

I believe pickup range is owed to the models' absurdly large collision hull, 'cuz you can interact with TF2's pickups being quite far away from them. not sure how HL2 does it.
I would rather sacrifice the item pickup range in order to have usable prop collisions.

Cant grab them like a prop at full health like you can with normal HL2 healing items..
Also the range for picking them up seems smaller than HL2 medkits, not really sure though
