@Z@Warrior Thanks for creating Liberation using Drakovac. I'll pin a post with a link to it
@Tahs9n Yeap it should work just fine. It's just that no one has created an Antistasi mission or forked an update to the official Antistasi yet.

I agree with you about the satellite image from distance looking okay but not the best. I've tried my best with all kinds of different images and the few tricks I know of with the config of the terrain-blending but I'm never going to achieve what BI has done with Livonia and other maps.
The map looks nice overall. I think there's something off about the long-distance ground texture though. It looks very...smooth. I know the long-distance ground textures have never exactly been a strong point for Arma, but if you compare Drakovac and, say, Livonia, the difference is quite clear. It almost feels like Drakovac uses a coloured bump map for its long-distance texture, rather than a photorealistic texture. I dunno, easy to see but hard to describe.
I've re-tested with Gryphon, Buzzard and the A10 and it's now (for me atleast..) with terrain version 151, working for AI jets to taxi, take off and land again at the 2 major airports.
The airfield in the woods outside of Gospodarsko Bay is going to be a 'player only' airfield. It would take too much of terraforming and rebuilding the woods/cliffs to make this work properly with AI.
The Istrana Airport has no issues with takeoff (in my limited AI testing) but almost every aircraft fails to land. They crash into the water about 100 meters short of the shore.
Same issue with the woodland runway at Gospodarsko Bay. Takeoff is fine, landing puts the AI into the trees. Though they aren't landing short this time, instead I think the woods needs a little more of a trim. (OR flipping the runway 180 degrees would let the AI land from the bay-side. Which they could handle. I think.)
And same story for the Unije Airport. Landing is short, takeoff appears to be fine. Either trimming trees or swapping the approach direction for landing should fix.
This was all (hastily) tested on vanilla with no mods. Using the Gryphon and Buzzard.
There are a few patches in the north west corner that was supposed to be towns or industrial sites, but they haven't been built yet. I might revisit those areas and build something there.
@mason92601 Yea you are absolutely right, it was added for an operation. A second large airfield was needed somewhere and an island was the quickest way to do this. It's based on an airport outside of Genoa in Italy, transformed as an island. I thought it looked cool in the end so it was kept in for the release of the terrain.
i like the map a lot it just seems some spots werent finished yet. im just wondering if i should look forward for future updates
@Denios We've done multiple playtests on dedicated server with ~20 players and 100-120 AI with smooth FPS. I've added a new image showing a heatmap of the terrain, this should give you an indication of what areas of the map might be more or less heavy on the performance
Thank you for your work, desire, interest and further development of the map! We believe in you!
@Zhasik Fixed the reported issues with objects.
