like how in the tilled soil mod it adds its own version of normal soil?
or does it replace the select tile with the in game tile for space?

It works as you would normally remove the vacuum of space with other floors and walls of steel, you just build these platforms for the exterior or the edges to give a nicer design to the orbital bases.
is there anyway to vacuum seal things you build on orbital platforms, or do your colonists to be in their grav suits at all times
Yes, but it looks different. Like I said, it's doable in dev mode, but it would be handy to be able to have my pawns be able to do it.

Sweet. I'm wanting to do an asteroid based pirate/smuggler hideaway for my next Odyssey playthrough, and that would be just perfect for it.
Can't you use the Heavy platform to fill in the hole's?
I spent hours trying to figure out how to make them removable and keep their linked textures, it was driving me mad.
i was really happy using Heavy Bridges for that, until the Graship took the bridges with itself when i launched it!
i was using the debug tool to create 'em, just so i could have a proper berth for my gravship.
I was also looking into the option to remove asteroid floors. I think I'll update that tomorrow.
