my game runs this mod fine still, i don't see any issues. it only crashes for me if i don't select a race...

Seems like the mods are dying out due to no longer getting supported.

shame I was just thinking about getting into this game again haven't played this in a long time, but I always found the vanilla game to be rather boring, with mods is so much much more fun.

All support for this mod is gone. If you want to launch the mod without it crashing you need to put -nopbuffer -w 1920 -h 1080 into the command line

Everyone needs to understand that this mod has been officially discontinued years ago, and the Homefront channel on Chokepoint's discord server was removed. The idea of a reboot is being floated ("Homefleet" possibly for HW3) but this isn't getting revived y'all lmao

Given their Stellaris team just updated Sins of the Prophets for Stellaris, I'm sure eventually their Homeworld team will maybe get around to doing it as well.

ok heres a possible solution: before match you need to select race, its between "colors" and "team". Button is invisible until you click on it. or you can use -nopbuffer -w 1920 -h 1080 (wide screens) or -nopbuffer -w 800 -h 600

i hope Homeworld 3 has a Sins of The Prophets mod for it, or a new Homefront using Sins assets. I miss the fleet battles i made in this...
