① select a playermodel, configure its bodygroups as you want and click "Apply playermodel"
② switch to "Favorites" tab
③ there's a text box below the list, give your configured playermodel a recognizable name
④ click "Add new favorite"
⑤ next time you want to use a favorite from the list: select it and click "Load selected Favorite" then "Apply playermodel".

Addon got errors in opening the interface, choosing the playermodel. However you could still apply change to the playermodel.

@willyansete7 Normally when you emote the view should switch to thirdperson for the duration of the emote.

when i emote, i can only see my hands. Any fixes?

Is there a way to blacklist specific models from being selected? I need the models available for scripts to assign them to people so i cant remove them from the server outright.

If the answer to this exists somewhere else already, sorry but i couldn't find it.

@XDforeth for me that didnt work, but removing the file entirely, launching the game, then putting it back and reloading the game fixed it.

this problem is 100% caused by a recent update of gmod

Hey guys, you may try this method to fix the problem. At least it worked for my gmod (64 bit).
But I don`t know if it will cause potential new problems.

1：Open the following directory of your gmod files:
\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\gamemodes\sandbox\gamemode

2：Find out and read the LUA file called "editor_player.lua"(create a backup for it before we start)

3：Remove the following code(begins at line 271):

Used to work perfectly, now when you open the playermodel menu your game freezes so bad to the point you cant close it at all, not even with task manager. Took me like an hour to find out which mod kept freezing my game causing me to restart my pc
