So I was just watching a video on YouTube where they were playing this game on Steam called "Flashing Lights" and I immediately recognised the ambulance and firetruck from the game as exactly the same model as this and your Ford E-350 Ambulance. That would be amazing. As a FF/Paramedic, your ladder is one of the best emergency services vehicles in the game.

I have noticed something about this asset, maybe fixable, maybe not, This Engine will only fight building fires on the same side of the road. If your station sends out the truck and fire is on driver side of the truck, it will go to the nearest place to turn around and come back so the fire is on the passenger side. My other fire trucks do not do this, they will stop and fight the fire regardless of what side the fire is on, unless there is a median in the road. Is this fixable?

It looks amazing I really love this fire truck model. Do you think that you will be capable of creating fbi undercover police car or something like that? You know classic civil car which has the blue/red lights inside the car. Car which does not look as a police car until they flash red/blue blinking lights at you :D

I love this Fire Engine. I think I play the game just to watch it in action. I have disabled the stock fire truck so the annoying thing will not spawn. The only con, the siren could be a little louder, other than that, it is perfect.

Sorry, again... At the rear of the cabin there is a hole untextured. This is the best Workshop vehicle, please fix it. I love this Fire Truck :highlvl::highlvl::highlvl::highlvl::highlvl:.

your polycounts are too high for all your models, you are making peoples game' crawl and they wont know why, you can't compare building p/c to vehicles, there are tons of vehicle spawns

Well, that depends the point of view of each one. But, the firetruck is 'as downloaded', I only deleted the interior part and no more work on it. For my own models my limit is at 2000 polys.
BTW: Recommendations do not mean obligations.
Each creator can be focused on different aspect, in all games happens the same. Some prefer to create more 'quality' for people that want more realistic vehicles for example, and others create more 'gamestyle' generic vehicles to merge it with the original ones. Instead of 1500 polys use 3000-4000 polys for a vehicle... Well, your PC will not explode for that and you gain much more quality with the models.

Of course 8000 is not that much... but apparently you fail to read sentences in their integrity.
The game has recommendations, gpu etc... but also for builders, and we should stay between 1500 and 2000 for vehicles (if possible).
Now imagine every builder took your point of view (recommendations ? bah... not for me...)... and every thing released for the game was 4 or five time over the recommended poly count... see what will happen ?

Oh and trust me bad vehicle lods are spottable even on high settings... and think that some people have to play the game on low settings.

What you talking about? 8000 polys heavy stuff? 8000 polys is absolute nothing in this era and is nothing for this game / engine.

About the game generated lods, seriosly I never seen differences between lod and normal far away because are unnapreciable (I never seen any aberration with LOD). I see those aberrations in buildings for example. But in vehicles? is really unappreciable what you are looking.

1 - If we are recommended to stay low poly it is because the game engine has to render a lot of stuff. So yes 8000 is nothing, but if everyone decided to upload heavy stuff to the workshop without caring the game would quickly become too much for certain machines (oh and I know there are worse things in the workshop, but this is not an excuse).
2 - The game engine generates crappy lods automatically. I have NEVER seen the game generate something acceptable for a vehicle.
3 - Yes you are right here... but you also have the right not to take credit.

1. 8000 Polys is 'nothing' today with normal PCs. But if you think 8000 polys is a lot, check Mesh info and compare it with other stuff... Maybe you get a surprise.
2. The game engine generate the LOD automatically. So, yes, it have LOD.
3. Is up to me give credits or not, and, If I pay for it, I have no reason to give credits. But don't worry, I'm working on my own models, so no bought stuff anymore.

@mrt-mt you mean equipment units? I have plans to make an equipment unit and a fire commander vehicle. I seen most part of times to fires there are 2 trucks, so I guess have a chance to send 1 fire commander and 1 truck with luck.

But for the question, yes, I have plans to make it, when? I do not know because I'm working on other models now.
