Hi Ominous, I can't say as I only tried this one, but came here to say it has been working fine for me thus far, having nearly finished campaign, and 100's of hours building stations etc, I thought I would risk some spice up, have captured several xenon I's and K's since, all seems to be well in 4.30 and with the DLC's. Thank you for this mod :buzzed:

Yeah, I'm in agreement with you there. I started a new game with just xenon hunt 3 installed, and as I thought, it worked just fine for me with no issues. I think it's just a combination of a few mods that did me in on the other game. I think ill try adding it back on to my main game in a bit and see how it goes. It is fun wrecking shop with a Xenon I and a squad of Ks lol.

The mod works well and there were no problems. Depends on which mods you use. Perhaps this conflicts with other mods.

I really liked this mod and being able to cap Xenon ships, but unfortunately, it is crashing my game =( . I have several other mods installed, nothing too extensive, and I confirmed it was solely this mod that was doing it.

It worked for a while just fine (did have a random crash here and there), but it started with this. It's worth a shot to install this mod if you want to try it on version 4.30, but it got to the point where I couldnt progress as the game kept freezing.

I think it might be do to some of these errors im seeing in the debug log regarding escorting a capital (currently have an I and Ks in escort at this time among other ships).

Please dont discount this mod - its very worth a shot to see if it runs okay for you. If not, a simple unsubscribe got around my problem. Thanks for posting this mod, I've still marked as a favorite and thumbs up. I might come back and reinstall it later and see if it works okay at a later point in my game.

Куда? Стреляться он собрался... Все корабли куда-то исчезли и торговля ксенонскими кораблями стала невозможна, да и экипажи их куда-то пропали (это если отключить мод) Срочно переделывай свой мод! А потом можешь хоть повеситься, хоть утопиться...

This is strange. This update, it was not meant to affect the player's ships. Rollback mod.

I apologize. I drank a lot yesterday, the devil got into my head. (This is a joke. )


But I did not think that this would happen. The update was calculated only on the ships of the faction xenon, but not the player. Fuck. My fault. I hope that no one saved the game, with this version of the mod. I'll go and shoot myself.

@aladinaleks Uh the new update you put out says. "After loading the game, all Xenon ships of the L and XL class are removed in the galaxy for a new respawn." problem is it doesn't just remove Xenon ships of the L and XL ships It removed all of my owned L and XL ships non-xenon or otherwise. I'd call that a MAJOR bug. Disabling this mod allows me to load my saves and have my L and XL class ships still. With it installed in it's current version IT removes ALL of those ships that I own.

while i like this mod, i've found without any resistence i now have a fleet of Xenon I ships. because they are too weak to resist boarding. can you release the steam version with marines please?:steamsalty:

This applies only to Xenon ships. Marines are present or Has no.

I don't get it. During gameplay, what is the difference between versions "without marines" and "with marines"? The marines are used automatically during the boarding, you mean the "with marines" version will not work if I don't have them and the marine officer in my ship?

Xenon Hunt 3 Hard Version 2.30 - with Marines

At Xenon ships during capture will be Marines.


These are two variants of the mod.

you can also download from Steam without marines by clicking on the Subscribe button ..

That's not true. There are quite a few mods that do work. It's hit or miss whether a certain mod works, though.
Trying the hard version linked above now, but haven't come across a ship I could test this with yet. Is this the latest version? What exactly does with or without marines mean?

I want to try to use this mod in the VR version. Where can I find the files for this mod after subscribing? Is there another spot to download the updated mod? The links above all seem older versions? I couldn't find the mod on the nexus or egosoft's forums (not the updated mod anyway).

If you encounter the no weapons issue w/ autocrew, you don't need to replace the crew, just dock and the weapons will come online.

Oh, I agree, the mod works fine. I was just stating that I think the Xenon in Sable Vortex spawn at the beginning of a game, not when you enter the sector.

I can confirm that none of the Xenon I in Sable Vortex are boardable. I think that just means that the Maelstrom Xenon spawn before you visit the sector. I installed the mod before I even got to Omicron Lyrae but after I started my current playthrough.

What are the boarding resistances on xenon i and k suppost to be right now i's have around 20 to 40 which seems wrong and k's seem right at 240 to 280 resistance

Fixed the problem, it would appear that the auto crew mod causes issues with the weapons. Docking on the captured ship and replacing the crew instantly brought the guns online.

Have you noticed, XENON - I doesnt use hes Plasma/MB guns ? Even before or after entering it...but still tough like hell:steammocking:

Look, all I know is that when I open the game it tells me that this mod requires v4.10, maybe you should double check the files you have uploaded to Steam.

The update you pushed out on February 1st makes this mod require XR v4.10, which is still in public beta.

Is there any chance you could undo that change?

I checked, and it works. Check - the command ( work on skunk) the commander Marines or is he just a passenger.

If possible, let save file to check.

Ahhh i noticed the notes on this mod say that if it existed before subscribing I may not be able to board even if they have the drone module. Is there that chance that this Xenon I existed from the start of the game?

Not sure if it matters, but I did my usual blast all turrets and modules on the ship before even considering boarding. I'll see if I can find a previous save of the very initial encounter.

I do have the marines and commader all set. I get the option for boarding on everything else pop up, but for this Xenon I (only one so far I found), There isn't even a greyed out boarding option. Should I unsub and resub?

What version of the game? This mod to version 4.0. The new version 4.10 of the game changed some macro position. Mod for 4.10 release will be updated in the day of release.

If you use the 4.10 beta, you may download the new version of the fashion in the description.
