Another time saver, it does feel a bit cheeky, but space needs flying vacuum cleaners, this does the job nicely, still working fine with 4.30 and DLC's, thank you

The ammunition container could be caused by the Skunk being full with missiles. Happens also vanilla when pressing "O" - nothing happens. Just a thought.
I have installed this today and so far no errors.

Interesting. In my save i didn't get those problems and it looted all stuff i encountered. Could you share your save game at some point so i could test it?

is there a way to configure what is looted? im havin problems with cops scaning me and asking to drop ilegal items... and of course the mod re-loot them and the cops jump on me and my ships...

OK, no, just forget this. I think it's just a problem of localization. Some item names are just far too long in french to be displayed correctly and mislead me.

Don't know if you still support the mod / play the game, but in case : It seems to be a problem while opening/gathering some lockboxes. I already dropped quality gun parts or even money, but gathered random items instead.
Do you think it's possible the mod don't support latest versions of the game ?
And if you don't support the mod, is there any file I could update myself ? thanks :)

Hopefully in the coming X4 they will leave the grindy/fiddly part out. This is the area where realistic actions get counter productive to game play. Navigating to tiny flaoting objects and asking the player to select them is just unfair. At least give us upgradable tractorbeams :)

Digital Ronin: change HUD to station scan mode to disable pick up mechanism.
- change hud
- drop contraband
- do your business at station
- before leaving the area change hud to get contraband picked up (if wanted)

CSI: Compilation includes capital ship looting. while your capships travel around they will loot items in 5km range and transfer them to you.

I turned off this MOD in Xrebirth and it clearly shows it is OFF with updates=OFF but still I keep getting messages of fly-by pickups and I am not even flying. I am just hovering over one of my stations being built.

So why I am still getting this ?
How can I remove it successfully ?

It was getting too annoying with having many ships and kept interfering with my SETA usage.

I really like having to pick up loot myself, but I dislike the sound it makes more.

So I turned on long range scanning to deactivate the mod temporarily, dropped three different loot, flew around in a small circle and nothing got picked up.

Turned off long range scanning and all the loot got picked up!

Did this a second time to check it wasn't a fluke and the mod still works!

switch: in theory you did everything alright. the extracted xml should be in mod's md directory. to test it, drop something from your inventory and see if it gets picked up :)

Not sure if I did this right but I used the X Rebirth Catalog Tool and made an XML file out of the cat file.

There is now a file called "fbls.xml" inside the fbls/md folder.

I changed activity.scan_stations to activity.scan_longrange.

I then deleted the cat/dat files.

I unsubscribed from this mod so it won't overwrite the changes I made.

I loaded the game, flew around for a bit but couldn't find any loot so I'm not sure if what I did above is working. I can still see this mod when I check my extensions in-game...

I see your point. i wish there would be easy way to add toggle UI button to control mod features, so illegal cargo could be destroyed/dropped.

Ah, well, don't know how to do either of those lol.

It's just that I idle often near stations (so I don't get destroyed by hostile ships if I'm idling elsewhere) and with this mod, it loots illegal wares as well.

So to stop that, I have to go to station scan mode... BUT my screen looks ugly when in station scan mode (you know, those different building colors to indicate the scanned parts of the station) so I was hoping to switch to long range scanning instead to temporarily disable the mod.

switch: activity.scan_longrange, but you need to adjust cat file to becasue length will increse by 1 character. or make an xml out of the dat file, then you dont need to mess with cat/dat. hope this helps.

How can I edit the DAT file so that this mod is NOT active when in long range scan mode instead of station scan mode?

I know that I have to change this line - "activity.scan_stations" - but to what?

Not sure if this is some kind of scripted response that you can't do anythign about, but is it possible to shut Yisha up about collecting cargo? she gets annoying at times, and it kills the SETA drive

The mod doesn't increase ammo capacity. Please check maybe you have some other mod, or somehow an earlier mod saved capacity changes.

You have to open the lockbox, then the mod will loot content. I may create a separate mod which does nothing else but hacks lootbox open.

Does this increase skunks missile capacity? Or perhaps ignoring it? I am able to reach 300 sunstalkers, something, i dont remember being able to do before 4.0. Maybe it is changed in 4.0 patch.

That works perfectly. I just stay in that mode until I want to collect, then grab it all in one go. Thank you for the tip.
