Is it balanced, though?

if the gun cant be equiped anymore the best option is to log out and in again and the problem is fixed... the problem is only caused when you die while holding the gun this is the best gun mod ever made soo far in dont starve together

I have an issue with the mod ! At some point in the game i can't equip the bolt gun or drop it anymore, the only way to get rid of it is to put it in a backpack and burn it and then to desactivate the mod and reactivate it again until it does it again. Do you think it's the mod glitching or maybe it's troubleshooting with another mod ? (its my only mod for weapons). however thank u so much for the mod its very usefull

great mod, but how do i change the damage? I have changed it in the modinfo.lua, reset default to 100, but its not working.

Characters walk as though nothing is in their hand. Bolter sprite is tiny, like the size of a pistol. Sprite is fuzzy, exactly as seen in the icon, and includes the fading white border. When used, character throws a ball-like projectile, as if chucking a snowball. In-game tooltips are a mess.

No sound effect. No weighty feel to the bolter. No true loyalist under The Emperor of Mankind would subscribe to or even publish a feeble attempt like this. 0/10

i can control the char animations when they attack, and I would love to make more items, but im looking to work with an artist on stuff like that. graphics for me is too time consuming.

new update is out, added the requirement for clips. Headshot chance still under development

I dont think there should be a miss chance becasue the weapon itself isnt that strong. Once I make the clips work, Im pretty sure you wouldnt want one wasted. I have already changed the recipe. New update will feature requiring clips and a headshot chance.

Its seems that you need clips to shoot but it shoot without them(( And recipe is too hight-prices for only 1 shoot. I think need to add gunpowder to that recipe and do 30 bullets at once. And i think you need to decrease range bu half or near and add a miss chance, especially for little objects like birds (near 90%) or its too cheaty)
