I mean, I saw that, but you can't hear it while immersed in the simulation. You actually need a record player in the simulation even if you're literally standing on one. Otherwise you only hear the ambiance of the world.

Oh yeah, totally possible to finish it anyway, but that last hallway will get you if you can't swing that corner fast enough.

There's no way to reset the alarm.

I found it to be a fun challenge to trip the alarm immediately and try to complete the level anyways.

I accidentally tripped the lasers as I was about to get the objective, got shot on my way out. Thought throwing the chair would make things better. They did not.

Also fun fact, if you throw a chair into the lasers, resetting doesn't do anything as chairs just re-trigger the alarms in the simulation, and your safehouse ends up alarmed as well.

I think there's no alarm panels, otherwise if you set off the alarm partway through you can't disable the turrets.

I found a couple of stupid ways to get through the obstacles in this and I consider them all to be good (and better than 'intended path')
Especially using the 'rotate a held object' key to clip items through walls. Do that!!

So, like, you can do the thing the author suggested: Open the laser door, shoot the button on the far wall of that room so you can access the fan in the first room.

Or you could do the stupid thing I did and just fucking throw the weever into the air until you get it on the stupid spinny blade and do that 100 times till you get it right.

technically anyone can mod the game, but it's far from simple; I'll try to learn the editor's interface well enough to make something!

This is my fav map so far, wish there was more maps to download really loving this game just want more of it really. can people make their own yet? seems wierd theres only 3 map packs. Regardless thanks for the game, its super rad!

as far as I know, the only way to open that vent is to use the datajack to open the door at the end of the laser hallway, and then shoot the button behind that door

Can someone please tell me how to open the vent? I'm convinced it's impossible. I've explored the whole level. There's no way to get to door 3!

Hey dude, just wanted to applaud you on putting my favourite song at the start of the map. Thats it. Other then that good map I guess. Its nice to see someone making maps for one of my all time favourite games ( I own 3 coppies :P ) :8bitheart::8bitheart::8bitheart:

@Derpmind, it is possible to open that vent, it's just more complicated than you might expect. I just did it (not in tourist mode).

Sorry, let me rephrase that: It is litterally impossible to beat the first room because there is no way to open the first vent normally. Playing the map in "tourist" mode you can open the vent, but tourist mode lets you open every door. If you 'beat' me, it's because that part of the map doesn't work right.

I tried to make the lower zone have a few different ways to solve it. my speediest route involved clipping the weevil through a door (which is probably a bug but definitely canon)

Very difficult map lol. I don't know if this was intentional or not but the weevil can be placed past the lasers on the underground fan part. This was the way I did it. Unfortunately I had to noclip about a little bit because a few of the vents were missing screws and some wouldn't open.

Nice work! As a sidenote, I found it really difficult to climb into the hatch next to the fan in the first area, in order to put the weevil on the blades. That might be remediated by putting a little ledge at the same height as the bottom of the hatch. Just a thought! Nice work, and congrats on being one of the first user-created levels on the QC workshop!

nice idea - finish the textures especially in the first zone and also improve the lighting in the first zone - its really hard to see - other than that i like it
