Sides aren't balanced, mechs are from different eras. Steiner side (bushwacker and Hollander) has significant advantages in range, damage output, heat dispirsal, and overall armor over Liao (Starslayer and Raven). Used it to teach my boyfriend how to play and the only thing keeping it from being a disaster is he is a really good sport and still played despite the random selection of sides meaning he knew he was losing 20 min in. I would recommend setting a mirror match instead of diffrent mechs with a 140ish BV discrepency.
