I can't actually check if we used the same concept right now, as my game won't sync with Steam Cloud. I'll try yours as soon as my game starts working. From what I can tell, it looks great :)

I used a similar mechanic in two of my maps, but mine was not repeatable, but it responded faster.
For a stacking minigame. Press the pedestal button to stack cubes in the center.

This one uses a laser catcher instead of a button. Hit the same laser catcher 7 times

@locoroco1, nope, your "LASER" - it is lame, cos effect of mechanism is too random. Try to use a moving panels for a stable periodization of the laser fields.

This is the idea... "Activate a fizzler that destroy all the cubes" as you said is impossible, but you can use horizontal funnels to place cubes on wall buttons, and desactivate the funnels to let fall the cubes into acid (or fizzler) ^^

I thought about that, e.g. you can activate a funne at the first press, the light bridge at the second and drop the cube for third, and for last press it can activate a fizzler that destroy all cubes so all process will be looped...
