how do i activate this on my game

I lost my save and nabbed this to help hop back to level 40 on a new save, but I ended up falling down a rabbit hole with the DDDK. I just want to tweak some of the values so I end up around level 40 instead of 72 after one easy wave. Do you mind pointing me in the right direction?

Thanks for that tip. Was a little bit worried about overflow at first but after running the domain on hard on a test character, it turns out that you were right.

New Characters, play this level on HARD.
You go from level 0 / 1 to level 100 at the end of wave 5 with no overflow (no negative exp).

@SupremeNeo, no, this only functions in the unrated modes (offline and open-network) so there's no reason you would be banned for it.

Enjoy trying different characters than my main ones sometimes. Jumping into a game and buffing them to try them out makes it a lot easier- knowing what you're going to use and get in ranked without dealing with the stress of leveling with the potential of not liking the character.

The map itself is based on deeper well. The mobs inside it have modified (extremely low) health values, and overall an extremely high EXP multiplier. If there's anything else I can clear up for you please let me know :)

The description does not describe what this workshop item does. I'm guessing it shows the player how much exp he or her requires to get for the next level?

@EndlessMijot, thank you :) if I can find the time between current projects I'll see if I can dig up the original project files for this and see if there's anything that strikes me as an edge case that could be causing it with the newer updates. (2012... that would've been... 2? 3? computers ago... oof. might make more sense to carve out a bigger chunk and redo it...)

@chibi++ The damage bug seems permanent for both characters I used on this map. I've done some more tests with respecing and it may just be the fact that I leveled up so fast that the game doesn't seem to recognize that any characters have leveled up. I'm not sure what changed between the time that other users tried out this mod and when I used it but I don't feel like it would be all that hard to fix tbh. I'll keep you posted if I find a solution in case anyone else has a similar problem.

@EndlessMijot, Unfortunately I don't have a good answer for you. It's been a very long while since I've played, so I'm not aware of anything that might be causing a scaling or overflow issue like that. I do notice you said you leveled to 100, which does indicate at least some thing (the level cap, specifically) have changed since this mod was created. I don't recall what the stat cap was at the time (if it was 99 or 100 or higher?) Is the damage issue present in all maps / modes or just in this one?

@chibi++ Firstly, thanks for responding so fast! I don't have any other mods installed and all stats were fine before I applied the level ups. So the problem was not so much the level but when I tried to apply the points to level up my characters they bugged out and now deal less than half their weapon damage now. I tried respecing to adjust the point distribution and put 100 on speed and 120 on all other stats and they all seem fine but only the hero damage stat for whatever reason is worse than at level 0.

@EndlessMijot, not sure what to tell you about that. This map doesn't have any direct interaction with character stats or damage numbers. All it does is provide weak mobs with a big exp multiplier. My best guesses would be to double check that there's not some other mod you have installed that could be changing it, or some oddity with the weapon(s) / skill(s) you're trying to use on the second character?

I decided to try out this mod and successfully boosted one character to lvl 100 but I tried it again on a different character and now that character is unable to do damage despite 120 points in hero damage.
