It can be started with less/little trouble by spawning your first extra lord at turn 1 on southwest city to prevent it's capture for 2 turns while you grab Southeast from the easily defeated lesser army setup there. Depending on your Garrison mods this may/not work. I fight this manually and bottleneck their armies in the village.
This will cause him to send his leftover units (if he has any) north to the remaining blue city/or merge them to the army attempting to sack southwest city. Either way the extra lord needs to be in SW city to holdout till franz can rescue it.
In my experience this is also about time to start worrying about preserving either the sunburst realm or Stirland to avoid facing vampires yourselves if you are not ready.
Disposing with the goblin army on your way west form SE city is a great way to get on the good side of a Dwarf/Nuln Fight giving you Nuln for free sometimes. At least in my Setup. I use old world diplomacy though.
At least this is how I do it seems to work every time. Best of luck.
Seriously, i have all of bretonnia and all of the empire as my allies and i mean all of it. Chaos finally appeared and i have practically eliminated all dwarves who wouldn't get along with me(forced one of them into submission and is now my vassal). Beastmen are also extinct.
The only threats at all remaining are undead(who are surrounded on all sides by my allies), noscea (who don't stand a chance in hell against wood elves anyway), greenskins, and finally chaos.
Honestly...they aren't ready for Daith and his melee focused army. He is brutal and just what i needed for Wood Elves, thank you Mixu.
So it is you Mixu that are the masochist who added in The Midnight Hunt!
Can you or anyone else give me some tips and tricks on what setup i should run to win that final battle?
I try to focus on killing Vlad, Isabella & Mannfred asap but for some reason when they are all dead the soldiers of their armies does not dissintergrate, so i end up being overrun and routed.
I have lost count on how many times i have lost this battle.
And could you edit the Red Duke so that he may be as he is in the lore... aka without helm and with sword and mace/axe ?
Do you think that would be possible?
