Issues with ship tipping. HELP
Hi all.

I've built a mining ship using the vector thrust 2 script available in steam workshop.

This ship has 4 pistons on the front in a cross shape with 4 drills pointing forward. The rest of the ship is pretty standard, nothing fancy.

However, when using 3 rotors and large atmospheric thrusters + The Vector Thrust 2 script I run into a strange issue.

The ship is super stable. The problem is, if left unattended the nose of the ship faces the sky! It's like the balance of the ship is off by 90'

I've tried removing the pistons and the ship functions as expected without them.

Does anyone know of a way around this issue? Or if the pistons are even to blame?

I've played around with rotor positions around different points relevant to the centre of mass.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'll try and get an image of the ship for context.

Piston on flying ships behave weird do not use it!

sounds like some phantom forces are present with multiple subgrids.
this might be caused by collisions between grids, so try to make sure things aren't rubbing against one another.
other than that i'm afraid there isn't much you can do.
