Vector Thrust 2 [old]

Top Mounted Thrust Pods
So ive been making a mining drone using vector thrust to 1 make it smaller, 2 make it cheep, and 3 making it more versatile. (vertical mining) got it almost all working but have one annoying problem.

My thruster config is as such;
two side thrust pods with 5 small small grid atmo thrusters
and one top mounted pod with 3 small small grid atmo thrusters

So the thing that happens is when the ship is upright everything thing is fine, the 10 side mounted thrusters are just enough to hold it fully loaded, but as soon as i pitch forward or back the thing falls from the sky, i think its trying to divide the thrust load to the top pod when pitched forward or back, but because of the lower amount of thrusters its miss calculating.

Also do to my current design i can not for multible reasons add 2 more thrusters to the top pod, though if the calculation could be adjusted to take into account number of thrusters per pod it sould be fine the way it currently is.

What can be done to fix this?
Is there a way i can just disable dampening on that pod in the forward and backward directions?

Instead of using a top pod I have 2 thruster in each direction, also top/bottom mounted pods are mid calculated but because the scrip was not actually designed to work with pods in such positions (straight from the dev)

sorry for the delay, steam never notified me of this discussion

the math the script uses to figure out what each nacelle needs to do is flawed. i dont know how to work the problem out properly, so the current implementation is the best i have.

ill happily accept a pull request that can solve this issue.
