Bug Reports / Known Bugs
Known Bugs:

- Pawns will "Woo" (watch a performance) from out of range at times, and still get the buff.
- If no seating is available, pawns will try to gather directly around the performers

Both of these require a rewrite of the current job code. I've started on it (based on the vanilla Party/Wedding code), and it will be updated when it is ready.

Seems like performances have stopped in my game. I did 2 performances in 2 days, both on microphone, and by the third day I had 2 microphones ready to perform and my pawns never gathered. Third day, same thing. Fourth day, I had a composition ready on the piano in addition to the 2 microphones, no performance. I'm on day 5 and about to be ready with my play, but I get the feeling my pawns will again not gather for a performance.

I have 20 pawns (7 of which are idle at any given time), plenty of available seating, in a good environment. There don't seem to be any errors getting displayed in the log that have anything to do with this.

Let me know what other info you need.

EDIT: I was wrong, everyone gathered on day 5 for the microphone performance. Still haven't seen one of the other performances, but at the very least the mod is still working. Maybe include something that says the time frame on the next performance, if it's not supposed to be every day.

It's a "safety" so that your colonists do in fact work on other things (I've just added this to the guide):

- You must have at least 4 colonists
- It needs to be safe (map danger rating of 0)
- The performer(s) must be alive - if one dies, you can select someone else and right click on the venue to replace the lead or support as needed
- Performances can take place between 1pm and 9pm
- Each venue has a cooldown of 600 "rare ticks" (x250 ticks) = 150000 = 60 hours
- Finally, it comes down to RNG: 10% chance every 6 minutes (game time)

Due to the simplification of some of the other calculations though, I will probably change the cooldown to be somewhere between 24 and 36 hours instead.

If you wish to change it yourself, the value is stored in:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1778162471\Defs\ThingDefs\RAZ_Buildings.xml
(assuming you are loading the mod via Steam, and not a local copy)

Line 6, change the "600" to whatever you want: 10 = 1 hour

Aha, that all makes sense. Though I would suggest for the sake of not overwriting user settings with every update, you do what you can to add that to the mod settings in the menu. I don't actually know how to do that for Rimworld, but most mods tend to have some setting or another in there, so I assume it's not that hard.

As an XCOM2 modder, there was no simple interface for letting user mod settings persist through mod updates, and I was complained at *constantly* about it, every time I posted an update. So I don't do this to say "Hey I demand ____," but more of just a "it'll probably be better for your sanity in the long run" thing.

I have yet to download this, but just wanted to ask if anyone has tried it along with Vanilla Furniture Expanded. I know that mod adds both a Piano and 2 different radios so I'm a bit hesitant to try this out.

But the temptation is great

As the main description comments have mentioned, the radios from that mod don't work with this mod. I personally have not seen the radios from this mod, and I use both mods. I don't think the two mods overwrite each others radios because the game would yell at me about duplicate definition names, and it hasn't, so I probably just haven't looked in the menus hard enough.

Either way, the two mods work fine together, except the radios from VFE don't play the broadcasts from RazzleDazzle

Okay cool. I wasn't worried about the radios from Vanilla furniture expanded playing like the ones from this mod, I was more worried about the overwriting files and if they conflicted!

Thanks for the answer mate.

Actually the colonists huddling together for performances seems to happen regardless of seating for me
