BUG REPORT THREAD
Use this thread to report any bugs encountered to keep them separate from the main comments section.

Please make sure you are certain that the bug is caused by this mod before reporting it here.

Some bugs, like AI getting stuck on props or spinning in a circle is a bug with the engine and is not something I can really do a lot about.

Do not use this thread to suggest features or changes. Start your own discussion thread and I'll happily reply.

Before reporting, try to troubleshoot the issue yourself.
-If using other mods try deactivating them to see if it's a compatibility issue.
-Compatibility with other add-ons is not guaranteed, this includes the unofficial language patches. The only exception to this is my own Cutting Room Floor mods.
-Check to see if you can you run vanilla SOMA without any issues.

When I'm getting on the train to lambda I always get a fatal error could not load script. I've played the game before and never got this. I've already tried verifying my game files, but I can't seem to continue while using your mod.

I've rolled the mod back to the 1.0 version until I get a chance to fix this issue. Try copying your saves over so as not to loose progress

Interesting, I'm having no issues loading the game and I've confirmed other people don't either which makes me think it's possibly an issue on your end. Try verifying the integrity of your game file through steam.

verifying cache. same issue.
reinstalled the game. same issue.

vanilla game works perfectly!!!
possibly its not on my end...

on prev v1.3.1 ur mod launched at least, but crashed on second map after breaking glass with a chair

@Aurora Noctis, I can see all the comments you keep deleting. I have confirmed with multiple other people that the mod is working and have checked the GameOverHandler script as per the error message that you mentioned and see nothing wrong with it.

As no one else is having any problems it must be an issue on your end and I sadly cannot offer any advice on how to fix it. My only suggestion would be to try manually downloading the ModDB version and see if it works.

After plugging in Catherine at lambda the encounter with the flesher pretty much bricked my game after attacking me it spawns me where I died with no control over my camera or movement and it just keeps reloading me in that spot every 10 or so seconds

Hmm I'll look into it. Were you playing in hardcore mode or just the regular hard mode. In the meantime try loading an earlier save.

if you finished the computer simulation puzzle and you go to the room where you have to break the glass to get into the room where the corpse of wan brandon is, 2 monsters spawn, and for some reason, they ignore you. Steps to reproduce:

1. finish computer puzzle
2. go instant non-stop near the room with the breakable glass and as soon as both monster spawn, just stop and dont move.
3. watch how they ignore you

also, for some reason, the pathfinding of both monsters are broken, like they always try to enter the room with the breakable glass and they dont patrol the whole section, but always patrol near the room, i mean really near, you dont have chance to even pick up a prop to destroy the glass.

Thanks for the report. Remember akers and the proxies are blind so if you're not moving they should ignore you (unless they run directly into you of course). The pathfinding issue is to do with the way SOMA handles monsters as it wasn't originally designed to facilitate multiple enemies enabled at once. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about this and even if there is it's beyond my skill level. The best method is to unlock the door via security instead of breaking the glass as it makes less noise and they are less likely to get stuck in the patrol loop.
I got a bug for one of the first parts of the game with construct (the second encounter of the entire game), he spawns in a really weird spot just outside of the machining area and becomes immobile. After a while and completing the puzzle he'll immediately aggro on you no matter where you are basically soft blocking the game.

Try using the alternate method to progress, I tested with both the flow control and power switches and didn't have any issues on my end.

Also this should be a checkpoint no? Because otherwise a player is forced to go through the entire beginning because the chickenbot can be hard to go past. This streamer died on him four to five times before he was able to go upstairs and fist a butthole: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1255787765

In the highlight assembled all attempts to go past that guy.

First of all we need to say that between those encounters we must complete all the "yes look for anything related to the arc in the computer in the next room" stuff and related to it, where it follows by a long dialogue, the escape vessel sequence, and running towards this field in front of the Curie. All in all it's like 10 minutes of your life lost give or take even if you speedrun it.

And yes, we figured that you cannot look at him for more than 1 second but still.

The enemy jumps you while you are locked in the scripted camera sequence. We managed to go past him, but should he jump us when we're locked in the camera scripted sequence?

Two other things regarding theta offices. There should be a checkpoint, i.e. a wau butthole in the shuttle next to alice's body, or somewhere close, because in the theta offices you literally go through hell, but butthole is not an easy find.

And another thing - when we fall down in the elevator shaft. Should we stop hearing how Akers addresses Simon telepathically? But we still do.

Currently the streamer is stuck in theta offices hell where two of those things chase him around. And he can be stuck for the entire stream trying to repair the lift. And as I already mentioned, even if he manages to repair the lift (which he done already like 6 times) it's hard to find a butthole downstairs. So please add it to be accessible right after fake Ashley cutscene, if you can.
