Settings tutorial
The settings are in the BDUCRSettings.xlsx file, which is located in \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\2405515122\Data Sheets.

The exact location of this folder depends on which steam folder you have installed Uboat in if you have multiple drivers. Typically this found in C:.

An image of the open sheet can be found there[i.imgur.com].

  • Disable vanilla reports - Allows to disable (True) vanilla reports or keep them on (False).
  • Range - Maximum distance between an NPC unit (air patrol or U-boat) and the player U-boat for it to be considered when checking possible targets. The higher this number the much further away reports can be generated from
  • NPC Range - Maximum detection range between friendly NPC units and enemy groups. The higher this number the more targets can be taken into account by a single source of reports (a high number is not very realistic).
  • Intercept time - Maximum time for the player U-boat to intercept a possible target at 18 kn. A higher value allows you to receive reports to more distance targets.
  • MTTH - "Mean Time to Happen", a value controlling the hourly probability of receiving a report. By default, a MTTH of 24 hours mean that after 24 hours have passed without receiving a report, there is a 50/50 chance of receiving one in the next hour. Beware! A low value means increased reports frequency, a high value means decreased reports frequency!
  • No grid in reports - Allows to disable grid information in reports and only keep coordinates.

Please make sure the True/False settings are spelled exactly True or False and not true/false or TRUE/FALSE because otherwise they will not be recognised by the game!

Please make sure to clear the C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\LocalLow\Deep Water Studio\UBOAT\Data Sheets folder after you have modified any settings (especially if you played before with the mod on) to make sure those settings changes are correctly taken into account!
