Playing the Aegean factions is quite underwhelming due to the lack of narrative. Therefore, I have added a custom mechanic to reproduce the Trojan War in-game.

At turn 10, Helen will abandon the Mycenaean faction and be transferred to Troy, where she will marry Paris, Deiphobos or Helenos if they are alive, in that order. After Helen's abduction, the first faction to occupy, sack or raze Troy will claim Helen for themselves. She will be transferred to said faction, be quick if you want to marry Helen to any of your characters!

The mechanic has a "true ending" scenario. If the faction that captures Troy is the Mycenaean faction and Menelaus is still alive, he will forgive her and accept her back in marriage.
