Update - 1/4/2018 - So what are the differences between the Cerberus-PSV and Manticore-EX1?

The Manticore was a completely experimental design trying to build a ship with legs. It was inspired actually from the "Mind Flayer" in Stranger Things 2. I thought the look with the long legs was rather intimidating. The Manticore was trying to capture some of the look but in a completely functional space ship.

The Cerberus is basically a 2nd gen version of the Manticore. The idea was to make it sleeker, wider, and longer with better pathing and profile. I was never super happy with the side/rear profile of the Manticore although I very much liked the front and front side profile. Those lessons went into the Cerberus. In a nutshell, the intent was to improve on every aspect.

Having more available room I was able to add a proper engineering deck, larger hangar with side doors and a larger rear door for bigger possible HV/SV. I also had extra room to build a more extravagant crafting area. The central elevator connecting all 5 decks was also an improvement as getting around the ship was simpler and faster, also taking less space over all. I kept the same theme and general bridge design making them look like the same manufacturer but with some changes. Because of the increased size, I nearly doubled the turret mounts points as well. With farms, this is where I ran into a bit of snag. The odd ball shape of the farming areas made it challenging to squeeze in the 126 farm plots matching the Manticore. I did however accomplish this but had to run 3 Farms, Farm C, above the crafting area however is the big one containing 90 plots. One last addition is reserve rooms A and B located in the rear legs accessible via hangar catwalks. I understand people like to add more generators, RCS ext. These rooms allow for just that and are completely out of the way. You will find 1 RCS, a few fuel tanks and O2 tanks there now. More can be added. When parked, even though this is a class 5 ship, it consumes little power and can stay active for weeks (real time) without refueling. I hope this clears up any confusion on the two ships.

Update - 12/31/2017 - There seemed to be a problem with the number of cannon turrets on the ship. I am not sure how that happened as I built it in survival mode and had no issues with it then. I removed 2 cannon turrets from the bottom of the ship and updated the steam workshop file. It should be fixed now. Give it another try.

I am trying to modify the blueprint to allow it RE2. The BP is red because of an illegal block. I found the id of the culprit, can't find it in the actual BP.

It is id# 1081 ScifiContainer1 (Industrial Cargo Container)

it doesn't show up under devices.

Any ideas?

Huge fan, love the Skaar line up. This ship is spectacular. Side note...I've been making an SV version of this ship...would love to have you take a look at it.

What I spawn is my modified version, but that is not public so as to not take away from the incredible work of the original.

@GhonnQuikk click p and go to the devices tab, search u the repair console, click on the repair console and you should find to the left of the search bar a switch that says Show on hud, turn that on and it will put a waypoint on the repair console. I hope this helps

Hey, looking for the repair console connected to the repair bay inside the ship. do I need to craft the console or is there one hiding somewhere I can't find it?
