Try to escape the cursed apartments in this single-player designed survival map. Featuring tight corners, dark hallways, vertical traversals, magical elevators and much more!

Can you survive the horde and find a way out?

DISCLAIMER:
Unfortunately I have lost the stable copy of this map, therefore unless I re-build (almost) the entire map from scratch, I won't be able to update it :(

I wanted to address a few things that have raised frustrations with the map with an update release - however since I am unable to do so, I'll add some hints here to hopefully make things more enjoyable;

-You should focus on turning on Power before anything else. You can either go into the apartments and open the buyable door to your left, or you can continue from the outside to the garage.
-I know this is a very dark map, it was designed with that in mind as a stylistic choice, however I've realized that some areas are simply too dark for many (mainly the garages). There are really no interactables within any dark corner or area. Anything that might be too dark to see is mostly ignorable.
-There is one shield part per garage. The buildable for the shield is on the third floor, right before the hole in the floor.
-Once the power is turned on, it will be in a cycle of failures. This is not only to annoy you....there is a particular door that depends on this power failure.

This is my first map and I had a great time learning and working on it. This project begun as my tutorial template (thanks again to all the awesome Youtube channels) that eventually grew into the map it has become today.
The apartment complex is loosely based on the apartments where I currently reside, and it includes an EE that unlocks a buyable ending.

Looking forward to any and all feedback, and please report back any bugs that you find/notice.

Sorry for the frustration @Spaceman. Unfortunately I've lost the map files so I can no longer update it.
The fluctuation of the power is actually a small game mechanic as it ties in with an EE step.
You can pretty much ignore anything that's too dark to see if you wish you give it another try!

The map being too dark for many is simply wrong, at max brightness i still couldnt see anything.Only way i could find power or doors was by running into them and accidentally seeing the prop. Power being turned on doesnt really add any light that helps. If power is going to flicker on and off we should get something out of it or use it as some kind of gameplay mechanic. Wonderfizz is easier to access than the box which is always weird. Like to see better lighting over the wholemap plus flashlight, would like to see better locations for perk machines, wonderfizz, and wallbuys, and would like brutus to not spawn every round if he is going to be a 2 shot to the head with most guns.

Seriously the map as so annoyingly dark i just refused to even look up the easter egg or anything because i literally could not see.

This is a good map, I just wish you could add a flashlight, I have to fire my gun to even see where I am going with no power.

Thanks @Tyvir for the great feedback. I will make sure to look into the Brutus spawn issue. They should be able to travel from F2 to F1, F1 to ground, and F3 to PaP, but I believe you are right, I might not have a way for them to go from F2 to F3 - I will see what I can do.
The crafting table is next to the hole on the third floor.

@Casualish GREAT JUMPSCARE xD.......... I replayed the map. i tried changing my TV display settings, i tried turning off Ambient lighting, i messed with shadow quality. Yes it did fix it SLIGHTLY in certain areas ONLY when the power is on. I still could not see where I was going when in the garage area's or first floor hallways. I found A soulbox on the second floor and had a much easier time navigating down to the first floor.... however... once i used the TP to go back to the first floor I spawned standing right in the middle of TWO Brutus.... When they spawn whilst u are up on the 2nd floor or higher they cannot reach you and will spawn camp the elevator TP ive tested it in a few different games making sure i had them spawned in before i teleported out and it was quite easy to replicate i hope you can find the same problem i had with that. Also didnt look to hard but had a bit of confusion on where to build the Shield once i had obtained all the parts.
