Description
Total Escalation: Primeva Under Siege

Total Escalation is a hybrid of Escalation and mission-based scenarios, players are thrust into the midst of a full-scale surprise attack on PALA by an overwhelming BDF force. The BDF has a significant production, strategic, and nuclear advantage, as well as a sophisticated air defence network.

Throughout the mission, dynamic events and strategic objectives will emerge—such as taking out high value targets, assisting ground forces, or reacting to BDF movements — completing these secondary objectives can can provide unique bonuses and significantly shift the balance of power in your favour.

This mission is designed for **high difficulty**, it will be extremely difficult when played solo. Success relies on effective teamwork; players must coordinate with allies to identify and exploit the BDF's vulnerabilities.

Total Escalation will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete.

The "surprise" counter attack was originally supposed to happen all at the same time (to put as much pressure on the player team as possible); however, due to performance constraints they had to be spread out between each other. I do get where you are coming from though.

The 4th "and then, somehow, palpatine returned" was at a point that had my friend group rolling our eyes and just wanting it to be over.

Difficulty is fine, long missions are fine, but having several bait and switches on it actually ending is just frustrating and making it feel like a waste of time.

The mission was otherwise pretty fun and an enjoyable level of difficulty but good lord.

Pushed some QOL changes, moving enemy spawns much further towards borders (since most were placed before the extended borders were implemented). Changed units around, etc.

Latest version of vanilla escalation may be the scenario in question as we've played that one about as much as this one lately.

Hey, no problem! Total Escalation does not have the docks as an airbase? Do you mean a different base or are we talking about a different mission?

Sorry for another post, but friends with Tiberiumkyle below, and he forgot to mention the docks takeoff also has a lot of AI issues. They tend to just go the wrong way, or taxi into the water perpendicular to the direction it's meant to go. The strip seems to be the right direction in the case of the HUD when going to land as a player though.

Thanks for your feedback! It seems the AI takeoff behaviour must have changed since the last update and I did not notice. I've corrected the airstrip, so AI should be less likely to crash inside the tunnel on takeoff.
