Description

A mod that replaces combine soldiers in the Half Life 2 games with VJ Base SNPCs of your choosing!

Experience your own Half Life 2 campaign!

MOSTLY SUPPORTS VJ BASE NPCS!
DrGBase Nextbots can be used but will cause softlocks.
The quality of the experience is highly dependant on the VJ Base SNPC. For example larger NPCs WILL get stuck in walls or terrain.

HOW DO I USE IT?
To do replacements, go to Utilities → HL2 Combine Replacer → Settings. Then click the type of combine soldier you want to assign repalcements to, then click Get NPC. To check what replacements have been added to a combine soldier type or to remove that entry, click Remove NPC.

This is meant to be used with maps from the games listed below. This will most likely break on custom campaigns.
Some soldiers won't be replaced as they are vital for map event progression.

This is meant to be played in singleplayer, and has only been tested in singleplayer.

Replaced NPCs will be able to:

Walk through most combine walls/fields
Be dropped/spawned from dropships
Replace most rappeling combine sequences with a teleportation sequence
