Thank you Drona! Good info! Thanks again!

FYI, the grow plots can be build in the survival constructor. I was able to build straight to this beautiful base after using only the SHM2 drill vehicle to collect all the resources. Great starter base. Thanks so much!

Thank you FrancoBam and ObertonSX! @ObertonSX, I will look into that. Thanks again!
ObertonSX 29 Feb, 2020 @ 11:29pm
try to build an underground bunker 2-3 floors down. Where the top of the base will be at ground level. And with machine guns and solar panels. For example, the 1st floor is a hangar for hv, 2nd plants and everything you need, the 3rd floor is technical. like this: https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1267138296 or like: https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1993133383 or like: https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1909221467 or like: https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1639902438

I think it would be good to leave them out as requirement and just let the space for them. It´s a little bit he same with the bigger ships. I usually do not need this high amount of grow plots in the game. But thanks anyway for your builds. I use them a lot in all my survival games, From MX1 up to the Peres. :)
jrandall  [author] 13 Nov, 2019 @ 10:59am
Thanks FrancoBam. I didn't know that myself. I guess I have normally skipped the small constructors and just went with the large ones. But that is good to know. Thanks again!
FrancoBam 13 Nov, 2019 @ 7:33am
Maybe I miss something. But you can not build the grow plots with the small constructor as far as I can see. So I need to build a base with a large constructor before I can get this in production. Hm...

@Inquisitor Firebrand, yeah you exactly correct. It is based on the Sanctuary-ST design. Trying to improve on it, this one has solar, 1 central farm, HV roof access, 2 additional turrets, alpha 9/10 storage, and an optional sea side placement to place equipment in the water with quick access. In the end the iron use went from 834 to 352 and that is mainly because of the new storage systems. (cargo extensions) and lost ~5 minutes of build time and includes the grow plots. The concrete HP's for the walls and ceiling are the same as steel used more on the sanctuary. So the goal was to improve on the design in every way. But this is a starter base that hopefully can last a while. The Waypoint Compound is an upgraded larger version with tougher materials and better defense, but also costs far more. Thanks again!
Inquisitor Firebrand 28 Aug, 2019 @ 7:29am
Based loosely on my first starter base, the Sanctuary-ST, this base meant to address any issues the older base had. To start with it is near the same build time but uses far lass iron. <- this is the lass iron ?
jrandall  [author] 28 Aug, 2019 @ 6:04am
Thank you Inquisitor Firebrand, Jaguar1965, and Roywin. @Roywin, it is s starter base with under 1 hour build time and no rares. If it were built with stronger materials it would be much more expensive. Thanks again all.

База из мало брониррванных блоков.Вы шутите.
Jaguar1965 30 Jun, 2019 @ 3:22pm
Had to go through my subscriptions, so if you see a few old ones being unsubscribed, it was just me clearing it out. And it worked, it is there now... Now, time to start a new game and use all the new stuff!!
Inquisitor Firebrand 30 Jun, 2019 @ 2:44pm
most people dig a room out under the elevator for the shield
Jaguar1965 30 Jun, 2019 @ 2:29pm
Thank you !!! I bet you are exactly right..
jrandall  [author] 30 Jun, 2019 @ 2:24pm
@Jaguar1965, My best guess would be you have more than 200 workshop blueprints, then it only shows them from A-Z on name. This starting with a W most likely got kicked off the list. I seen this happen tons of times now. The blueprints folder should be something like this: C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\383120 depending where it is installed. The folder name would be the URL number on this post, so 1735668265. You would have remove some existing blueprints or rename the folder on this one, and copy it to your blueprints folder here C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Blueprints\765614197171586119 (number at end would be different). I hope that helps. Thanks again!

For some reason, this base is not uploading into my game, subscribed, unsubscribed, restarted the game, reuploaded the game, and nothing seems to work, are the permissions set correctly?
jrandall  [author] 24 May, 2019 @ 5:57am
Thank you Raptor, whitepawrolls, and Inquisitor Firebrand! @whitepawrolls, when I built this I didn't even know a shield generator was coming to the game so I didn't plan on space for it. :( @Inquisitor Firebrand, I don't really understand the question. In regards to iron use on this base, that pretty much all comes from the parts like turrets and the iron needed for the container extensions used for the two 320K storage. Thanks again all!
Inquisitor Firebrand 23 May, 2019 @ 8:42pm
what is this lass iron you speak of?
whitepawrolls 23 May, 2019 @ 12:40pm
Looks good. I only saw 1 thing missing and that was a place to add a shield later. I ended up extending the elevator down, and made a room just big enough for the shield generator and a pentaxid tank later on.
Arkixul 14 May, 2019 @ 1:12pm
looks good cant wait to use it i also cant wait to see your may challenge build
jrandall  [author] 13 May, 2019 @ 7:08pm
Thank you Rokatansky!
Rokatanskii 13 May, 2019 @ 4:21pm
First look impression: Can say it costs bazillions of resources for level 7.

5 minustes later: just 10 more stone to go!

Absolutely love it!
jrandall  [author] 13 May, 2019 @ 5:56am
Thank you Bedevere, bobo8734, and wraithmaiden! @Bedevere, the space station is coming along nicely. Got some more to do on it yet, but it is getting close to complete now. Thanks again all!
wraithmaiden 13 May, 2019 @ 3:29am
Great build JR, have used it on server and single player, its a good first base ty
bobo8734 12 May, 2019 @ 7:10am
Another very cool design. I love the cheapness of it as this will make it easier to get into a high quality base very early on. Keep of the great work!
Bedevere 11 May, 2019 @ 7:19pm
Amazing design considering the requirements. I also liked watching you texture it. Looking forward to the space station!
jrandall  [author] 11 May, 2019 @ 3:57pm
Thank you ibrox!
ibrox 9 May, 2019 @ 6:49am

Thank you Dan Bolo and Myrmidon!
Myrmidon 8 May, 2019 @ 10:50pm
👍 💖
Dan Bolo 8 May, 2019 @ 10:49pm
Really great starter base !
jrandall  [author] 8 May, 2019 @ 5:22pm
@Siege, I took a look at it and added a wood block on the back side feet. I also colored the generator orange and changed a texture light somewhere. lol Thanks again!
jrandall  [author] 8 May, 2019 @ 3:33pm
Thank you very much Payden, n2q0, sulusdacor, and Siege! @sulusdacor, I will take a look at it. Thanks!
Siege 8 May, 2019 @ 3:22pm
That water feature is pretty slick. Nice work!
sulusdacor 8 May, 2019 @ 11:10am
great base. as always super roomy and efficient layout, which you always seem to hit perfectly. enjoy your vids btw. some nice tips in there, like the window rotation thing.

PS: think your base legs on the back door side miss some deco on the inside, if this was intended to be symetric to the front.
n2q0 8 May, 2019 @ 10:20am
Yep, I will be trying this one out too. I like the water feature design element...I don't like having to trek for my water!!! :)
Payden 8 May, 2019 @ 10:11am
Symmetry be damned! I'm adding three more solar panels somewhere :) Another very nice build. I tend to litter the system with small bases so always nice to have another good one to use. Thanks!
jrandall  [author] 8 May, 2019 @ 9:31am
Thank you CheekyShenanigans, D00mnoodle, and Adonnay! I been loving all of your creations too! I just did a quick patch to fix a spelling error on a LCD sign. lol. I hate missing that stuff. lol Thanks again all!
Adonnay 8 May, 2019 @ 9:27am
Great starter base! I like the quick water access. I actually did something very similar with the base in my current game.
D00mnoodle 8 May, 2019 @ 9:21am
Nice one jrandall, just finished watching your video about this, checking the workshop and boom it's here. Very nice :)
CheekyShenanigans 8 May, 2019 @ 9:08am
I love this style, and the idea to have internal water gens is great! Nice work :steamhappy:
jrandall  [author] 8 May, 2019 @ 9:01am
Thank you XCaliber! I hope you like it. It is more or less a new version of the Sanctuary-ST matching the other Waypoint creations. Thanks again!
XCaliber 8 May, 2019 @ 8:59am
Looks Great! I’ll give this a run and see how it goes
