Are there any engine models in the game that can actually fill the big flat surface where the right main engine is at? It's the one thing about the Titurel that looks weird to me. I think it's also the only engine this mod doesn't change. If that's a thing that can be changed, I'd love to see it.

Either way, thank you for making my Titurels finally fly at a decent speed!

Oh I know...I can't wait. I got bored one day like 2 weeks ago and was looking through my email and found the announcement for X4 - Yes, I was lucky in that I only JUST found out X4 was coming out very soon, and I only had to wait like a month - so I decided to try my hand at X3:RB again. I tried it a long time ago when I picked it up but couldnt get into it.

Anyways, great mod. I love ALL of your mods - I've been using them since the start of this new game for me, and they all work wonderfully. Cant wait to see what you and the other Mod creators come up with for X4 - no rush of course, enjoy the game first ;)

I can confirm this works with 4.30 - Had it since I started my game and it's been working just fine for me.

Hey Adept - I don't think the devs have fixed that particular issue, as next iteration of X is soon to be released in the upcoming months. However, I can't confirm if the mod is good to go for current version - need to sit to it and test. In the meantime, what you can do is simply backup your save, test if all works and if something doesn't then come back to the old file :)

* Fixed all instances of double and invisible engines that could occur in version 4.00+
* Rewritten the logic for the updater of existing ships in loaded savegame.
* Taken into account new logic for patch_macro / patch_macros in 4.00+

Hey Guys, thanks for your feedback. Please, notice that I haven't updated the mod since ages and it is more than likely that it won't work with the current valid game version. I always do extensive testing before releasing anything and publish a clear info to which game version the mod is designed for.
I know for a fact that some of my mods still work but most will indeed need an update. I am very busy at the moment, but I love X franchise and when time permits I will update them all.

Actually I'm not sure the mod is working at all. There is no visible change to the engines and the info for the ship says the max speed is 57m/s

I boarded a titurel - captured it - captained it and engineered it. The engineer got the hull to 92% and the engines at last check were at 54m/s

I installed this mod and restarted my game. Now my Tit's engines are at 48 m/s :steamfacepalm: is this normal?

I'm having the issue described by others; I cannot board Titurels due to one or more engines being inaccessible within the hull of the ship.

I just checked it and it seems all fine in my game. Maybe there is some other mod active in your game that conflicts with mine.

I've read reports of that, and find it odd. I started a new game last week (again) with this mod installed, and boarded a Titurel without any problems.

When I activate your mod my Titurels get additional engines in the center of the ship.
I found out when I was trying to board one and, even though all visible engines were destroyed, it kept moving.
When cycling through the available targets, there are some engines which can't be seen from outside, which makes destroying them a bit hard.

Hi ! I would like to thank you for your awesome work ! It's truly one of the best improvment in combat gameplay there is !!

Could you please make it downloadable outside of the steam workshop like on Nexus or elsewhere like Dropbox or the Egosoft forum please ?
Many other modders offers that possibility and I think it's a big plus for it's visibility and to spread it efficiently in the community (as many people don't even go on the steam workshop or don't like to download/depend from it).

Hey Smeg-3, thanks for the feedback. I went into the xml files governing Titurel and while engine types have been cleaned up, I still don't think it is how it was intended.

Engine of L size is still used as mainsail, boosters are also still of L class, even though ship itself is classified as XL. Hence I think the fix will still be needed.

I will decide when compared with Scaldis performance with should be comparable or at least on par.

Hi nidaren. In the 4.00 beta the Titurel's listed engine speed was fixed. It now correctly says 51 m/s instead of 70 m/s. Not sure if 52 m/s is the performance you would like for the ship but hopefully this info helps plan any updates.

Does this work without installing your other mods? The hitpoints mod said that your main mod had to be installed for this one to work, but I do not like the hitpoint increase so am not installing that mod.

You are welcome - did not alter/made any changes to how its speed was intended by the devs: Titurel is 70 m/s and Taranis is 80 m/s.

If your engines were damaged below 50% at the moment of update, they won't be visible until you fix them at the Shipyard. This is only the graphical glitch.

Maybe they want to redesign the whole rear of Titurel as a whole. In the very beginning they have mentioned that the M class engines set there and one class L engine should not really be there. To properly fix it together with visuals, model change would probably be in order.
