Would make it much easier to debug why given laser antennas can't connect - you connect laser antenna from point a to ship, fly it to destination, checking connectivity every jump or so and there's a chance you can find what's blocking your way and make a respectable hole through ;)

That would make it top notch.
Color and Opacity can be changed on
line 21: static Vector4 _laserColor = new Vector4(2f, 0f, 0f, 1f);
first 3 digits are RBG values,
4th digit is opacity on a scale from 0.00 to 1.00
line 24: const float _laserWidth = 0.1f; can be increased to change the thickness of the laser.

And I was trying to get it to connect. The very moment that I put in cords and hit connect it crashes that very second. I did try it prob a dozen times to be sure. I turn the laser off, put in cords, and the moment I turned it on it would crash. Never had time to even see the visable laser.
Also, if it matters, pretty sure there is an asteroid in between lasers. one laser on earth, one laser in space. Not sure if that affects it.
Threws the mod list up on the discussion page, just ripped it from the .sbc file as it was the fastest way to compile it. Not seeing anything thats obvious to me that could conflict, but I'm not a mod maker, so dunno.
Also the mod list does not have the visable laser antenna loaded on it since I removed it to be able to use the antennas.

Also, what did you do before it crashes? I want to replicate it.

if that is true, i or someone else needs to make a mod that fixes that stupid ness
truer words never said, especially at longer distance. real shame tho, idea of the block is interesting. good mod idea for a difficulty challenge :)
Cuz lasers.
i have not once gotten 2 antennas to connect in my 1000+ hr of playtime, so yes, they never seem to work
als pls add color picker too it wil help me im colorbln thx wip
