this is a great concept, but whyyy why why do mission makers never add a respawn system to their co-op scenarios? if i die in multiplayer i can't just load a save and instead have to sit in a corner for 20 minutes while my friends complete the rest of the mission :(

Doesn't happen so long as you stay in the SDV and use the designator. As soon as I left the SDV and parked myself on some rocks and tried using it is when I would get obliterated.

Should probably add a note that the missiles launched via the laser desig have a tendency to target the person holding the designator. I've died at least 3 times to the missile directly hitting me even though I'm lasing something 1500 meters away.

Fun mission, BlackFox does it again. It's a shame how few workshop missions there are that incorporate diving and SDVs, but this is a good example. Feels super stealthy slipping out of the water to hit targets, and then disappearing back into the waves. Agree with other comments that the AI teammates can be dumb as always, at end of mission safest to take the driver's seat, the AI driver was doing all kinds of weird stuff and I had to load a save (so save generously).
Also fun tip: when you're on the bridge, after launching the missiles, you can use the little balconies on either side, vault over the railing to drop straight down into the water. Felt pretty cool escaping the ship that way.

Classic concept and well executed. Sad that the destroyer is haunted and eats my AI teammates, but that's ARMA for you. Still quite fun to do CQB in there with the P90. Good job!

Enjoyable, well designed mission. Spoiled only by my AI team being more brainless than Muppets. Trying to get them back in the SDV was like herding cats (or kids) - I think they wanted a certain seat. At one point they took the SDV on a joyride leaving me in the water chasing it. And I couldn't get them to climb the ladder onto the ship at all. Complete idiots!

BTW, I tried landing a couple of Scalpel missiles on the flight deck to try to kill off some of the opposition but it didn't do anything. Shame.

Whenever I shoot at the enemy soldiers, they dont die. Im shooting literally popint blank and they still arent dying. IDK how else to describe it

WallaWalla , sorry but "I cant kill the enemy soldiers. something ain't right" is neither descriptive enough comment for me to take any action nor did anyone from 2,5k people who downloaded it have reported similar issue since this mission was posted.

Oh no, I'm not suggesting you change the mission at all. Just offering my own views on what I think would make it more interesting, hopefully some feedback that might be useful for future missions. Again, different people will enjoy different flows of missions. I personally enjoy feeling some pressure, others might just prefer to have a "shooting gallery" where they can take their time to pick out every single enemy. Even then, I greately enjoyed this one, and of all the missions I've played that featured infiltrating the destroyer, I think this was the best one!

JPAB97S , If you look below at Jeza's comment he already says that the mission for not easiest for him and I bet he isn't alone. So I understand your point of view but I don't think altering difficulty to this degree now is good move on my part. I don't want to make it more difficult for people especially since so many people in the comment said how happy they are about how this mission is now.

I will keep in mind your suggestions in mind for future missions though. :>

And as for mission not ending I can't recreate that and what's more intresting the Wrath of Gods actually ends mission by calling a function and all the other you mentioned do it with a module so I have no idea what on my end could cause that... :\

As for the end phase, it could maybe fun to have assault boats approach the destroyer after launching the VLS, and adding the ability to hack a CIWS on the ship to take them out (with manual control).

Btw the 2 enemies above the helicopter deck are positioned in such a way that they can't shoot anything, and they can't be shot either (at least from the deck).

@BlackFox I'm starting to think the issue may be with one of the mods I'm running (honestly no idea which could be causing it tho), because I had the same issue with 2 of your other missions (Wrath of Gods and Lost and Found) I played yesterday, and I never had the same issue with your other missions. I'll have to test without mods to see.

And I totally get why you didn't add reinforcements. But just some thoughts: for the base attack, you could have timed reinforcements (with like a countdown) so players know exactly how fast they need to be if they don't want to fight the reinforcements. Also probably reduce the number of enemies in the base so it would take less time to clear it out. With stationary enemies in close quarters you have to be quite slow and methodic because they will one tap you the second you go around a corner.

JPAB97S , I actually had one other person report exactly the same thing on other missions. So you are probably not the only one, but I can't replicate the issue myself so i have no idea what is causing it. The same trigger that set last objective to "completed" should activate module that ends the mission. :/

As for that apparent care free attitude of CSAT about their base being blown up. XD
I acctually thought about adding some reinforcements comming to the Naval Base (similar to what is happening in No Soul Left Behing and Moving Shadows ).
But every single time I do something like that there is a lot of people complaining there is too many enemies just overwelming them. So I decided that there is enough happening in the mission and left it as it is now. :>

@BlackFox the second option. But seeing as it seems noone else had the issue, it might have been something on my end. Didn't really have any game altering mods activated, only assets, so not sure what it could have been.
One feedback I have regarding the mission itself, as fun as it was, is there is no sense of urgency. Blowing stuff up, but the enemy doesn't seem to care apart from the guys on the base haha

Or did tasks were marked as completed including 'leave area' one but mission just didn't end? :<
