Just completed TDC 64 and 65. As always, an enjoyable run for both scenarios.
Regards, Paul
Thanks for mentioning my scenario in your last comment, I need all the publicity I can get !
I Have already subscribed to your latest 2 scenarios, TDC 64,65 and will be playing them soon.
Have already done the others.
Regards, Paul
That's great news, so I can now make my scenario on the finalised route, but think I may try your 2 scenarios first, as you can probably teach me a lesson or two !
Regards, Paul
Hope you don't mind but there are a couple of observations I made whilst testing my interim scenario on your "Stoke Ferry" route, so thought I would mention them before you make the route final.
1. There are men wearing high visibility jackets and hard hats by the lineside.
2. There are John Deere tractors visible.
I am fairly sure that neither of these 2 items would appear in the 1960's which is the era used for this route.
These are merely observations and do not bother me in the least, as they do not stop this route being a most enjoyable branch-line.
However, thought I would point them out, as there are some subscribers who are very aware of anything that is not in keeping with the era in a route/scenario.
Best Regards, Paul
Thanks for the information.
I am enjoying further improvements and testing on my scenario for "Stoke Ferry".
Still learning as I progress.
Regards, Paul
Thank you for your reply. I can see you are a busy man, whereas I am now retired and am fortunate enough to have lots of spare time, except when the wife gets the decorating bug !
I appreciate how much design and testing goes into creating a Route, even though I have never created one myself.
Will probably leave out the V2 after your comment, as it may limit the audience to a scenario on your route and also after some research it would appear that there were no V2 locos allocated to any sheds in this area in the mid 1960's.
Anyway, have already enjoyed creating my pre-release scenario on your route and will of course give you any useful feedback that I can.
Looking forward to the final release route,
Best Regards, Paul
Please ignore my last comment about a problem creating a scenario on your route.
I was being a dork, did not put the right instructions in.
Sorry to waste your time.
Best Regards, Paul
Sorry to be a pain but I have a question on your route now that I have tried to create a scenario for it.
I am taking a freight train to "Sugar Factory 1A" and un-coupling the consist there.
The next instruction is to drive to "Denver Platform 2" which necessitates reversing from "Sugar Factory 1A" to "Sugar Factory 1B" then across to "Sugar Factory 2A" and hence onto the main line back to "Denver Platform 2".
However, the points (controlled by the game) do not switch to allow me from "Sugar Factory 1B" to "Sugar Factory 2A".
Hope I have explained this correctly.
As I have never created a route, I have no idea whether this is a simple fix or not.
If simple, could you please amend but if not I will change my scenario accordingly.
Many thanks,
Regards, Paul
Have you any rough idea when you will make this route final ?
It looks great to me as it is and I have an idea for a scenario.
Need to do some research to decide what locos etc. to use but thought of using a K1 Peppercorn with a freight and a passenger train, and A.I. using V2, B1, 04, J94 locos would be appropriate.
Regards, Paul
